MARTIN was started by Jeremy Martin, in 2001 and he remains the owner and Managing Director. However, Prior to the business being known as MARTIN the business was known as South Sydney Realty, but given the rapid growth into new suburbs the name didn't sum us up at all. So, on the 1st June 2011 South Sydney Realty became MARTIN. Jeremy Martin, Managing Director says “I thought carefully about what I could say that would accurately convey why we feel we are the agency that you should rent or sell your property through. Our experience with Martin right through has been flawless and both my wife and I have been left highly satisfied with our experience in buying our first investment property. Hi Jeremy, The move was a bit chaotic, but it all went well and I'm in London now. Parisa and you managed to turn everything around really quickly, given my looming travel, and Parisa has been incredibly helpful getting the applications through quickly, the furniture price list sent around, cleaners sorted, and juggling the cleaners round my packing! So while it was a chaotic few weeks, it was much easier than it could have been. I'm also really happy with the tenants - I've met with them both since they bought the couch and I honestly feel like my little apartment is in good hands with both Martin and them. The team at Martin Management was recommended highly by a friend who doesn’t normally make recommendations. My expectations were high and Parisa, head property manager, exceeded them with her exceptional service. My property is outside Martin’s normal service area plus I live interstate – this was not a problem. Furthermore, Parisa has dealt with all issues before they’ve become problems – be it repairs, maintenance, inspections, valuations etc.Additionally, Parisa made the letting and reletting processes very straight forward without any gaps in tenancy. Through her extensive experience, she also demonstrates a strategic, forward thinking attitude and is fair to both landlord and tenant.
In 2000 I left Australia and left my rental properties in the hands of Parisa. Except for the payment of taxes, Parisa has handled all matters relative to the rental and management of my investment properties in Sydney. As a non-resident owner, I needed to have someone in Sydney whom I could trust implicitly and who would be reliable, ethical, and trustworthy at all times. In the ten years of my absence from Australia, not once did I have a problem with any of my properties. I had no dealings whatsoever with the tenants. During my absence Parisa had complete authority to manage the properties; she only needed approvals of rent increases and expenditures above a certain threshold. Consequently our communication was infrequent and brief. When vacancies occurred at lease termination, Parisa was responsible for recommending upgrading of the property and submitting a budget for approval. Once I approved the expenditure, Parisa handled the project to completion. Having returned to Australia one year ago, Parisa continues to manage the properties in much the same way she did during my absence. I have no involvement in the rental or management of the properties, and I do not meet or deal with tenants. I have no hesitation in recommending Parisa Doaie as an excellent property manager.

To my surprise, my first venture into buying a property could not have run more smoothly or efficiently...and as a result some of my friends are jealous. The team at Martin was incredibly proactive on my behalf from start to finish. They not only kept me updated at all times, but I felt was always upfront and honest with me throughout.
